This website, collesano.tours, is a free, ad-free, self-guided walking-tour guide to the town of Collesano, Sicily. It is operated by Konstantin Polak (Collesano, Province of Palermo, Italy). You can reach us at k@kpol.eu. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how the site's Pinterest integration works.

Information we collect

The website has no user accounts, no registration, no shop, and no forms — we do not ask you for personal information. The only data collected automatically is anonymous usage analytics:

• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HN68LLWSYV) records aggregated, anonymous usage data — pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type — using cookies, to help us understand how the guide is used and improve it.
• Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operation of the site.

Cookies and embedded content

The site sets cookies through Google Analytics. Some pages embed videos from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

The Pinterest integration

We use the Pinterest API to publish content about Collesano (images and descriptions that link back to pages on this website) to our own Pinterest account. This automation:

• accesses only the operator's own Pinterest boards and Pins, in order to create and manage those posts;
• does not collect, request, access, or store the personal data of any other Pinterest users;
• does not post on behalf of, or access the Pinterest accounts of, visitors to this website.

OAuth access tokens issued by Pinterest are stored securely by the operator and are used solely to publish this content. They are not shared with third parties. Your use of Pinterest is also governed by the Pinterest Privacy Policy.

How information is used and shared

Analytics data is used only to understand and improve the guide. We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by the third-party services named above — Google (analytics, embedded video), Amazon Web Services (hosting) and Pinterest — each under its own privacy policy. Your rights

This site is operated from the European Union. Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data relating to you, or object to its processing, by emailing k@kpol.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data-protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). The site is not directed at children under 16.
