Caffè Civello

Caffè Civello — also known as Bar Civello — has stood on Collesano's corso since 1902, which makes it the oldest bar in town and a meeting point for generations of collesanesi. It is still family-run, by Liliana and her husband. It's best known for its artisanal gelato, considered among the finest in the area, and for the house specialty, the 'bocche di leone'. Alongside them you'll find buccellati and other traditional Sicilian and Collesano sweets, freshly baked cornetti, granita in season, and a proper Sicilian espresso. A few steps from the main square on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, it's an easy, authentic stop for a sweet break.
