Casale Drinzi

A stone farmhouse — an antica masseria madonita — in Contrada Drinzi just above Collesano, set inside the Madonie Regional Park with sweeping views down the valley toward the sea. Today it's run as a family agriturismo by the Gulino brothers: Giovanni hosting front-of-house, his pastry-trained brother Gioacchino leading the kitchen. The cooking is deeply rooted in the Madonie — game, handmade pasta, mountain vegetables and wild herbs, wood-fired pizza on a blend of Sicilian ancient grains, and meats dry-aged on site — with much of the bread, salumi, oil and even amari, beer and wine made in-house. Gambero Rosso named it among the five best agriturismi in the province of Palermo (2024), and Giovanni features in Slow Food's Osterie d'Italia. There are also ten B&B rooms for an overnight stay.
