La Lanterna

An informal, much-loved Sicilian trattoria on Via Isnello, run by Pietro Traina and packed with locals at lunchtime — one of the most-reviewed eateries in the village. The cooking is honest and generous: pasta brought to the table in the pan it was cooked in, good grilled local meat, homemade desserts and loose house wine, at easy prices.
